Spicy Honey Buffalo Wings

The right amount of heat and sweet.

Ingredients:

3 lb chicken wings
2 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
3 tablespoons melted butter
2 tablespoons sesame oil
8 tablespoons honey
1 bottle Buffalo wing sauce, 16 oz.

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375° F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, melted butter and sesame oil in a large bowl. Mix together well. Place chicken wings in the bowl and toss to coat evenly.
  3. Arrange wings on baking sheet and place in oven. Bake for 60 minutes, flipping after 30 minutes.
  4. Stir together buffalo wing sauce and honey in a large bowl. Place baked wings in the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Place wings back on the baking sheet and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
