Slow Cooked Turkey In White Wine

Serves 12 | 
Enhanced with simple seasonings, spices and white wine.

Ingredients:

1/4 cup butter
2 cups white wine
1/4 cup parsley
6 lb turkey
2 celery stalks, halved
1 onion, peeled and quartered
Pepper, to taste
Salt, to taste

Directions:

  1. Season turkey with salt and pepper.
  2. Put the turkey in the slow cooker, layer celery, onion, butter and parsley on top.
  3. Pour in the white wine, covering the top of the turkey.
  4. Turn heat on slow cooker to low, cook 7-9 hours.
