Roasted Honey Garlic Pork Bites





Serves 12 |
Savory, sticky, sweet and spicy.
Ingredients:
| 4 lb pork shoulder roast |
| 1 yellow onion |
| 1/4 teaspoon salt |
| 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper |
| 6 cloves garlic |
| 1 cup honey |
| 3 tablespoons soy sauce |
| 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes |
| 1 teaspoon sesame seeds |
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350° F.
- Cut pork roast into small cubes. Chop the onion.
- Place the pork and onions in a roasting pan. Season both with salt and pepper. Cover with a lid and bake for 1 hour. Remove from the oven.
- Finely dice the garlic and place in a small mixing bowl. Add the honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes to the bowl and stir together. Pour the sauce over pork and onion. Stir to coat.
- Roast uncovered for 90 minutes, stirring every 30 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Sprinkle sesame seeds over top and enjoy.
