Cheesy Cheddar Jalapeno Hash Browns





Serves 6 |
Start your day woth some heat!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese |
2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced |
1 package frozen hash browns, 20 oz., thawed |
1 sweet onion, chopped |
2 cloves garlic, minced |
Seasoned salt, to taste |
Ground black pepper, to taste |
Hot sauce, to taste, your preference, optional |
Directions:
- Combine cheddar cheese, jalapenos, hash brown, onion, garlic, seasoned salt and pepper. Mix together well. Form into 6 patties.
- Preheat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Grease skillet generously with cooking spray. Place three hash brown patties in the hot pan. Cook for about 5 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy. Repeat with remaining hash brown patties.
- Place hash browns on serving plates. Top hash browns with a few dabs of hot sauce and enjoy!
