Honey Rice Pudding

Serves 4 | 
A delightfully easy dessert.

Ingredients:

3 1/2 cups whole milk
1/2 cup short-grain rice
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons honey, plus more for drizzling

Directions:

  1. Bring the milk, rice, sugar, vanilla, and salt to a boil in a medium saucepan.
  2. Reduce the heat and simmer, stirring often, until the rice is tender and the liquid has been absorbed, 20 to 25 minutes.
  3. Remove from the heat. Stir in the honey. Let stand for 5 minutes.
  4. Divide into serving bowls and drizzle on a bit more honey.
