Honey Sriracha Shrimp

This dish packs the heat!

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup sriracha sauce
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
Salt, to taste
Ground black pepper, to taste
Cooked rice, for serving

Directions:

  1. In a large frying pan, heat oil over medium heat. Add shrimp and garlic and saute for 2-3 minutes, until shrimp turns pink. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Combine honey, sriracha and lime juice in a mixing bowl. Pour honey mixture over shrimp.
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for a few minutes, until sauce becomes thick and bubbly.
  4. Serve over rice and enjoy!
