Basil and Lime Tilapia Fillets

Serves 4 | 
The perfect blend of tangy and savory.

Ingredients:

4 tilapia fillets
1/4 cup olive oil
2 teaspoons bourbon
1 tablespoon minced fresh basil
4 tablespoons lime juice
4 teaspoons lime zest
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions:

  1. Place tilapia fillets, olive oil, bourbon, basil, lime juice, lime zest, salt and pepper in a resealable plastic bag. Seal shut, coat tilapia fillets in marinade and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  2. Bring a skillet to medium-high heat.
  3. Remove tilapia fillets from the bag. Discard marinade. Place tilapia in the hot skillet and cook for about 4 minutes per side, until fish turns opaque.
