The Best Clam Chowder

Serves 6 |
Hands down one of the best clam chowder recipes.
Ingredients:
2 ribs celery, finely chopped |
10 oz clams, minced well |
2 potatoes, cooked and peeled |
14 oz chicken broth |
1 quart clam juice |
1 tablespoon onion, dry, minced |
2/3 cup flour |
1 cup milk powder |
1 teaspoon parsley flakes, dry, crumbled |
Salt, to taste |
Pepper, to taste |
Directions:
- Place flour, clam juice and milk powder into a blender. Blend until contents are smooth.
- Pour into a small pot. Add chicken broth, turn heat to medium-high. Cook until ingredients are thickened.
- Reduce heat to low, add clams, potatoes, parsley flakes and celery. Stir and cook ingredients for up to an hour. Season with salt and pepper as needed.
