The Best Clam Chowder

Hands down one of the best clam chowder recipes.

Ingredients:

2 ribs celery, finely chopped
10 oz clams, minced well
2 potatoes, cooked and peeled
14 oz chicken broth
1 quart clam juice
1 tablespoon onion, dry, minced
2/3 cup flour
1 cup milk powder
1 teaspoon parsley flakes, dry, crumbled
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste

Directions:

  1. Place flour, clam juice and milk powder into a blender. Blend until contents are smooth.
  2. Pour into a small pot. Add chicken broth, turn heat to medium-high. Cook until ingredients are thickened.
  3. Reduce heat to low, add clams, potatoes, parsley flakes and celery. Stir and cook ingredients for up to an hour. Season with salt and pepper as needed.
Course: Lunch
